Minds in Motion
Opening the Door for Every Child

Minds in Motion was created to meet the needs of underserved children in our local schools—students who may never have the opportunity to experience the performing arts.
This program brings high-quality dance instruction directly into classrooms, giving all children the chance to move, express themselves, and grow with confidence.
Since its beginning in 2002, Minds in Motion has helped thousands of young students discover the joy of dance while supporting essential skills such as focus, teamwork, self-esteem, and academic engagement.

The Curriculum
The Juline Foundation partners with schools across Modesto and Stanislaus County that do not have access to dance instruction. Our instructors and youth mentors teach a diverse curriculum that includes:
-
Jazz
-
Classical ballet
-
Hip hop
-
Musical theater
Juline provides all music, art supplies, and performance apparel at no cost to students or families.
Each eight-week session ends with a final performance that celebrates student progress and builds confidence.
